Widow stabbed to death

KASUR: A widow was stabbed to death allegedly over a property dispute in the Dolaywala village.

According to the Saddar Police, brothers Saddam and Faisal wanted Asyia Bano, widow of their brother, to vacate the house where she was living with her three minor children after the death of her husband some six months back.

Police claimed that on Wednesday, the accused stormed into the house and stabbed her to death after an argument.

Police shifted the body to the DHQ Hospital for postmortem and lodged a case against the accused.

Police claimed that raids were being conducted to arrest the accused.
