Army, Wapda in final

RAWALPINDI, July 13: Pakistan Army and Wapda advanced to the final of Ghaffar memorial hockey tournament by winning their respective semi-finals at ARL ground on Thursday.

Army blanked out POF Wah in the replayed semi-final 3-0 with two goals coming from Kashif (16th and 38th minutes) after Rafi Iqbal had opened the account in the ninth minute.

In the second semi-final, Wapda comfortably beat 502 workshop 2-0 with goals coming from Sajid Zaman (17th minute) and Faisal Niazi (40th).—APP
