KARACHI: A 45-year-old man was gunned down in Orangi Town early Monday morning, police said.

Pakistan Bazaar SHO Meraj Anwar said that the deceased, identified as Samiullah, visited his in-laws’ house in Chishti Nagar late on Sunday night. When he was leaving the house along with his son on a motorcycle, two armed pillion riders, who had apparently been chasing him, shot him from close range and fled.

He sustained critical bullet wounds to his head and died on the spot. The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The officer suspected personal enmity behind the murder.
