12 candidates caught cheating in inter exams

RAWALPINDI: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi on Monday caught 12 students red-handed while cheating in Biology and Mathematics papers of intermediate annual examination.

According to BISE Rawalpindi spokesman Arslan Cheema, Controller Examination Tanveer Asghar Awan caught red-handed nine candidate cheating in the examination centers. He said that five candidates were caught from Government High School Pindigheb.

Moreover, he said that two candidates from the examination center Government Graduate College Asghar Mall Rawalpindi and five candidates from Government Boys High School No. 1 Jund Attock were caught red-handed for cheating.

He said that unfair means cases were immediately registered against all these nine candidates and sent to the Discipline Branch for further action. He said that by adopting a strict strategy against cheating in exams, we will provide better environment for all students. He said that BISE Rawalpindi controller examinations visited various examination centres.

During the visit, he said that the chairman inspected CCTV cameras, security arrangements and attendance of examination staff. He said that the violation of standard operating procedures were not allowed, strict disciplinary action and FIR will be registered against anyone found involved in the violation.
