KARACHI: The Karachi Union of Journalists and the Karachi Press Club have expressed concerned over threats to journalist Muhammad Ali Hafeez and asked authorities to provide him adequate security to ensure his safety.
In their separate statements, the two bodies said Mr Hafeez has been serving the media industry since 2003. “In view of the seriousness of the threats, we respectfully request the concerned authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter and provide him adequate security.”
