Jordan’s King Abdullah II has welcomed the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran, commending Pakistan’s role as a mediator.
“We look forward to the two parties reaching a permanent agreement that enhances security in the region and ensures respect for the sovereignty of states,” he says in a post on X.
“We also commend the exceptional mediation efforts exerted by our brothers in Pakistan and Qatar, as well as the sister and friendly countries, to reach this stage.”
