Remand extended

KARACHI: A judicial magistrate on Wednesday extended the remand of a woman allegedly involved in the murder of her husband.

The investigating officer of the case produced the suspect, Dua Rustam, a policewoman, before the judicial magistrate (West) and sought an extension of her physical remand.

The court extended the suspect’s police remand for two days and directed the IO to produce her at the next hearing along with a progress report.

A case was registered under Section 302 (murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
