SCBA for murder case against PIA

Published July 11, 2006

LAHORE, July 10: Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president Malik Mohammas Qayyum has called for registration of a murder case against PIA authorities for the crash of Fokker plane near Multan.

In a press statement here on Monday, the SCBA president urged the Civil Aviation Authority to ground all the Fokker planes because they had exhausted their operational

age and their flying was dangerous in the present circumstances.

Meanwhile, the SCBA has cancelled its programme — The Encounter — in which former Punjab governor Ghulam Mustafa Khar was to be the guest on Tuesday.
