SHIKARPUR, July 10: A complete strike was observed in Dakhan town on Monday against unannounced electricity loadshedding for hours almost on daily basis. The residents of Dakhan town and its adjoining villages also took out a rally and blocked the Ratodero-Shikarpur road followed by a demonstration.

The demonstration was led by Mirza Jeho and Saeed Jeho.

The protesters demanded of the chairman of Wapda and Hesco chief to immediately stop unannounced loadshedding.

BAITUL MALL: A large number of recipients of Baitul Maal funds staged a demonstration, protested against delay in payment of 11th instalment which was released by federal government under Food Support Programme outside the general post office here on Monday.—BoC
