RAWALPINDI: A man lost his life in a road accident while another fell from a building on Saturday, police said.

Ijaz Hussain lodged an FIR with the Naseerabad police saying that his grandfather Mohammad Izram Khan, 75, was heading home when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver, who escaped from the scene, has been identified by the police.

In the second incident, a man died after falling from a building in Bahria Town Phase VII.

Police said three persons booked a room in Bahria Heights. On their arrival, they exchanged words with three other persons, which led to a fight during which Mudassar Ali Jatt fell from the balcony of the building and died.
