Man shot dead

KARACHI: A man was gunned down in North Karachi on Sunday morning, police said.

Bilal Colony SHO Rao Shabbir told Dawn that 45-year-old Suleman was riding a motorcycle when armed assailants on another motorcycle opened indiscriminate fire on him before fleeing near 4-K Chowrangi.

Suleman sustained four bullet wounds to the head and neck and died on the spot.

The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
