Three killed in different accidents in Attock

TAXILA: Three persons were killed in as many accidents in Pindigheb town of Attock on Saturday.

According to police and hospital sources, two of them died due to drowning while the third, a motorcyclist, was killed when a car collided head on near Kharrapa interchange in the limits of Pindigheb Police station. Police sources said that Shoaib Ahmed was going on his motorcycle when a speeding car collided head on resultantly he died on the spot.

Meanwhile, a teenage boy drowned in a mini dam in the same police station limits. Sources said that 16-year-old Hafiz Mohammad Shahmir went to Sahwal dam in Kamrail village for bathing where he drowned.

Separately. a man identified as Waseem Ramzan also drowned in a mini dam in Dhoke Laham.

Later his body was retrieved by local volunteers and handed over to family for burial. Police have registered separate cases and launched further investigation.
