OKARA: A man was booked and arrested for allegedly harassing the headmistress of Government Girls Primary School 30/1-AL, Farm Shergarh, after forcibly entering the school premises.

According to the first information report (FIR), the incident occurred on May 21 when suspect Aurangzeb allegedly entered the school without permission and went to the headmistress’s office. There, he reportedly used abusive, insulting and threatening language against the headmistress after she rejected his advances.

The FIR says the suspect also intimidated other school staff members and issued threats while using abusive language. Fearing for her safety, the headmistress initially remained silent about the incident. Later, she informed her brothers about the matter, approached the police and lodged a complaint four days later.

Acting on the complaint, Shergarh police registered a case against Aurangzeb, a resident of the same village, under Sections 509, 506 and 186 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

Police claimed that the suspect was arrested and put behind bars for investigation.
