NAROWAL: A nurse of a private hospital in Sialkot was shot dead over a minor dispute.

Muhammad Shabbir, a resident of village Charwa, tehsil Pasrur, district Sialkot, has filed a complaint with the police that his daughter, 18-year-old Sadia, worked as a staff nurse at a private hospital at Kangra. On Sunday night at 10pm, he went to pick her up from the hospital.

He said his daughter, Sadia, was working when Shahzeb, a local man, entered her room with his companion Imam Bakhsh and shot Sadia dead.

The Sabz Pir Police Station registered an FIR against Shahzeb and Imam Bakhsh.

DPO retired Captain Dost Muhammad immediately took notice of the murder. Police took the body into custody and shifted it to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ), Pasrur, for a post-mortem.

The DPO said the forensic team and the expert investigation team had recorded evidence and statements from the spot.

He said police arrested the suspects and justice would be ensured to the victim’s family.
