RAWALPINDI: Three people were injured when a compressor of a cooling unit exploded during its repair at Rawalpindi Teaching Hospital on Saturday.
Officials said a powerful explosion occurred in the AC chiller on the roof of the hospital’s emergency department.
Three people, including Owais and Hammad, who were busy with the repair work, were injured in the incident. Rescue 1122 reached the spot and shifted the injured to the burn unit of Holy Family Hospital. Doctors at the hospital said the injured were shifted to ICU due to their critical condition.
