CHARSADDA: Three children were killed, and a couple was seriously injured after the roof of a house collapsed in the Prang Majoki area of Charsadda district on Saturday, Rescue 1122 officials said.

According to them, the roof suddenly caved in, trapping five members of a family under the debris.

Rescue teams rushed to the site and launched an operation to retrieve the victims.

The deceased were identified as Sajawal, 12, Abu Bakar, 3, and Umair, 2, while the injured were identified as Ajad, 35, and his wife, Naila, 25. They were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
