Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam said Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had congratulated him on the “achievements” of the negotiations with Iranian officials following his return from Tehran.
He said that, with cautious optimism, positive progress could be expected if the other side demonstrated adequate commitment, adding that the development reflected Iran’s position based on dignity, the steadfastness of its armed forces and the resilience of the Iranian nation, as well as Pakistan’s mediation efforts.
