ISLAMABAD: Robbers and thieves looted cash and valuables from seven different strikes in the capital, police said.

In the first incident, a gang of robbers looted cash from a house. The incident took place at a house in B-17.

A gang of robbers raided the house and held up the residents at gunpoint, and looted cash Rs235,000 and escaped.

Moreover, a gang of robbers looted cash and a motorcycle from the area of Dhok Haso. Three armed men intercepted Mohammad Sabtain at the Metro Stop near Nust when he was going home on a motorcycle.

The gunmen held him up at gunpoint and looted cash, Rs2,000 and the motorcycle and escaped along with the booty.

Likewise, another gang of robbers looted a motorcycle from the area of Chirah Village. Three people armed with weapons intercepted Noman Khan when he was returning on a motorcycle after swimming in a pond.

The gunmen held him up at gunpoint, looted the motorcycle and escaped.

Similarly, a gang of robbers looted cash from a man at Kirpa. The incident took place with Farzand Khan when he was returning from the cattle market on a vehicle which broke down.

In the meantime, the robbers appeared and held him and his driver at gunpoint. Later, the robbers looted cash of Rs495,000 from Khan and Rs23,000 from the driver and escaped.

Furthermore, a burglar looted cash and valuables worth over Rs1.8 million from a house at I-9

The burglar broke into a house when the residents were away, stole 4.5 tola gold ornaments worth Rs1.8 million, Rs47,000 in cash, clothes and edibles and fled.

Besides, burglars also stole cash and ornaments worth Rs2.4million from the house of Rana Zulfikar Ali at Shams Colony. The incident took place when the residents of the house left to attend a funeral of a relative.

During their absence, the burglars broke into the house and stole cash, Rs480,000 and ornaments, including silver worth over Rs2 million, and escaped.

Meanwhile, a thief stole a CCTV camera from a bank. The camera was installed at the bank’s ATM booth at G-9 Markaz, from where the thief stole it.
