28 Afghans arrested for illegal stay in Gwadar

GWADAR: Security forces on Wednesday arrested 28 Afghan nationals for illegally staying in the Sangai area of Kech district. The arrests were made during an intelligence-based operation.

According to police, these Afghans were staying in the area without legal documents.

“We have arrested 28 Afghans who entered Balo­chistan through Chagai district and wanted to enter Iran for their illegal journey to European countries,” police officials said. Th­­ey added that after initial investigation, the Afghans were handed over to FIA for further interrogation.
