LAHORE: Wapda, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), Punjab, Sindh and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) qualified for the quarter-final in the 55th Bank Alfalah National Volleyball Championship at the POF Sports Complex, Wah Cantt on Wednesday.

Only one match extended to the fifth set in which the POF edged the Higher Education Commission (HEC) 21-25, 25-23, 25-19, 23-25, 16-14.

In other matches held on Wednesday, Wapda Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 25-20, 30-28, 25-18; Police downed ASF 25-19, 25-11, 25-14; AJK toppled Balochistan 25-20, 25-19, 25-12; PAF overwhelmed Islamabad 25-9, 25-12, 25-14; Wapda defeated Police 25-12, 25-22, 25-13 while Sindh beat Gilgit-Baltistan 25-20, 25-21, 25-18.
