HYDERABAD, July 4: Thatta District Nazim Syed Shafqat Hussain Shah Shirazi has made it clear that no decision had been taken to bifurcate Thatta district. He said that it was simply out of the question to bifurcate the district without the consent of the people.

He was speaking at a reception held in his honour by a social worker, Ghulam Rasool Qureshi, in Tando Mohammad Khan on Monday.

He said that the bifurcation of districts in Sindh on administrative grounds had benefited the people. He said that the PML was being reorganised in the province.
