US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that China is not in favour of militarising the Strait of Hormuz.
“The Chinese side said they are not in favour of militarising the Strait of Hormuz and they are not in favour of a tolling system, and that’s our position,” he has said in an interview.
Every day that passes without clarity on how and when the war will end introduces fresh intensity to the uncertainty roiling global markets and adds to the economic turmoil the world must bear because of it.
