INCOMPLETE BUILDING

INCOMPLETE BUILDING: It has been several months since the construction of a building started at the Government Boys High School in Wahi Pandhi. However, even after months, the structure remains incomplete. The number of students in the school exceeds 1,100. Despite such a large enrolment, there is a clear lack of basic educational facilities. Due to the incomplete construction work, teachers face difficulties in conducting classes, and students remain mentally disturbed. Why are our students deprived of even basic infrastructure? Relevant authorities should take notice of the situation and complete the construction work without further delay.

JUDGING PEOPLE: Judging people on the basis of their caste or ethnicity is a problematic behaviour, which is very common in society these days. Many communities face disrespect because of these old beliefs and social stereotypes. This is unfair in a country with multiple cultures, provinces and communities. This mindset weakens the spirit of unity, and creates division, hatred and injustice. People should be judged by their character, not caste. And, no one should be treated as inferior to the rest. Our diversity should be seen as our strength instead of our weakness. We must all stop judging people by their caste or ethnicity, and respect them as humans.

PUBLIC LIBRARY: Barah Kahu is a densely populated area of Islamabad, but there is no government library in the area. Students and those seeking knowledge are compelled to travel long distances to access the National Library of Pakistan, which is quite far and not easily accessible to many, especially on a daily basis. This situation wastes one’s valuable time and resources, and discourages many from pursuing regular studies and research activities. The authorities concerned need to establish a well-equipped public library in Barah Kahu. I will be happy to donate most of my books to the library.
