BAJAUR: Muniba Hussain has made history by becoming the first female candidate from Bajaur tribal district to secure allocation in the Pakistan Administrative Service after clearing the 2025 Central Superior Services examination.

The 24-year-old Muniba Hussain, who belongs to a backward area of War Mamund tehsil, has secured allocation in the Pakistan Administrative Service after qualifying the 2025 Central Superior Services examination in her first attempt, the result of which was announced days ago,” her family sources said.

They added that Muniba Hussain, whose father Dr Muhammad Arshad Hussain is an associate professor at Khyber Medical University, Peshawar, had secured first position in BS English from the National University of Modern Languages before appearing in the country’s top competitive examination.

“Muniba Hussain was a talented and committed student and it was her dream to qualify the CSS exam to become Bajaur’s first female PAS officer,” they added.

They noted that Ms Hussain’s allocation to the PAS was not only a great honour and source of courage and hope for the girls of Bajaur, but for all tribal districts as it reflected that girls from the tribal areas have immense potential when given access to education.

Meanwhile, people from different walks of life including women’s rights activists and educationists welcomed Ms Hussain’s success in qualifying the CSS exam and securing a slot in the PAS, terming it a matter of great pride for Bajaur.
