Drug peddler couple gets 20-year jail term

SARGODHA: A drug peddler and his wife were sentenced to 20 years in prison each in a drug trafficking case on Monday.

According to sources, the additional district and sessions judge pronounced the verdict against Asif for drug trafficking along with his wife, Alishba Bibi, who was caught red-handed selling 10kg hashish.

The court sentenced the convicts to 20 years in prison and a fine of Rs800,000 each. The case was registered with the Factory Area Police Station.
