ISLAMABAD: Chief Commissioner and Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Sohail Ashraf on Monday visited the under-construction National Police Academy building, Elite Police School and Islamabad Safe City Project.

Inspector General (IG) Islamabad Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi along with other relevant officers accompanied him.

The CDA chairman reviewed the progress made on the construction work of the National Police Academy project. Relevant officers briefed him about the project, saying construction work is progressing rapidly. He was informed that construction work on all floors of the building had entered its final stage.

CDA Chairman Sohail Ashraf directed expeditious completion of the remaining construction work on the project and said the provision of all high-quality training facilities within the academy should be ensured.

Later, he inspected expansion work of Islamabad Safe City project and Elite Police School.

Sohail Altaf was informed that the Islamabad Safe City project was being expanded on modern lines and that rappelling towers and obstacles were being constructed for training at the Elite Police School.
