LAHORE: More than 11,000 male and female athletes and citizens will participate in the CM Punjab National Marathon and Cycling Race to be held on Sunday (today).
Punjab Sports Director General Muhammad Tariq Qureshi said that the 21km marathon, cycling race, women’s 5km marathon and cycling race, 2km family fun race and 1km wheelchair race would start at 6am from the Liberty Chowk.
“All necessary arrangements including medical treatment, security staff, provision of water and other key arrangements have been made for the athletes,” Mr Tariq said.
