HYDERABAD, June 29: District leaders of the People’s Party Parliamentarians have condemned registration of a case against Leader of Opposition in Sindh assembly Nisar Khuhro and other MPAs of the PPP.

In a joint statement issued here on Wednesday, district PPP president and MPA Zahid Ali Bhurgari, Syed Fayaz Ali Shah, Amanullah Siyal, Aftab Khanzada and Ms Sanam Talpur severely criticized the Sindh chief minister for using what they termed intemperate language against women lawmakers of the party.

They said the people of Sindh would not forget or forgive the chief minister for what he was doing.

Meanwhile, party activists of Tando Mohammad Khan also staged a demonstration against the case implicating Mr Khuhro and other party MPAs. They raised slogans against the government.

Speaking to protesters, Mashooq Ali Bhatti, Noor Mohammad Seerio and Irshad Memon lashed out at MPA, Ishwar Lal and the chief minister for filing the FIR against the PPP legislators.
