KARACHI: Another motorcyclist was run over and killed by a fast-moving truck in the Quaidabad area on Thursday, according to police.

They identified the motorcyclist as 60-year-old Syed Kareem and said that the incident took place in Majeed Colony.

He sustained critical injuries and was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

The driver responsible for the fatal accident was identified as Mohammed Faisal.

He was arrested and the heavy vehicle impounded by the police.

Earlier on Wednesday, a water tanker ran over and killed a motorcyclist in the same area. Published in Dawn, April 17th, 2026
