‘Outlaw’ dies in shootout

GUJRANWALA, June 26: An alleged robber died in a `shootout’ on Sialkot Road here on Monday. Family of the accused however said the police had carried out the killing at a picket.

Reports said that accused Imran was fleeing after looting a motorcyclist along with his accomplices when constable Khalid Mahmood and people of area chased them.

Satellite Town police said the outlaws had opened fire in panic which claimed the life of their accomplice Imran.
