PPP leaders summoned to London

ISLAMABAD, June 26: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson Benazir Bhutto has summoned all the party parliamentarians, district presidents and other office-bearers of various wings of the party to London in the second week of July, a source told Dawn on Monday.

The source said Ms Bhutto had directed the party senators and MNAs and even the ticket-holders to reach London to attend a meeting on July 11.

He said the PPP chairperson had summoned the party MPs and leadership to discuss the future strategy with respect to the next year’s general elections in the country.—Staff Reporter
