GWADAR: Unidentified men gunned down three people, including an Iranian resident, in Gwadar district, police said on Wednesday.

The tragic incident took place in the Pleary Link Road area of the coastal city of Gwadar.

Police said that the three men were passing through the Pleary area when attackers riding motorcycles opened fire on them, killing them on the spot.

Police rushed to the area soon after receiving information about the incident and shifted the bodies to the Gwadar district hospital.

“The victims sustained multiple bullet injuries, causing their instant deaths,” a senior police officer said, adding that they were identified as Ghulam Qadir, a resident of TTC Colony, Gwadar; Arshad, a resident of Chahbahar, Iran; and Kambar, a resident of Turbat, Kech. “We are investigating the incident to determine the motive behind the killing of the three men. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack,” he added.
