Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel is forging new alliances with “important” countries in the region to counter what he described as the “Iranian threat”, Reuters reports.

Speaking in an address, Netanyahu has not specified which countries are involved, nor has he given further details.
