GUJRANWALA, June 24: The Punjab government has established an examination commission that will prepare question papers for candidates of province’s eight education boards to improve the education standard in the province.

Punjab Education Minister Mian Imran Masood stated this while speaking at an inaugural ceremony of the teachers training programme here on Saturday.

The minister said that education boards in future would conduct the examination and send answer sheets of candidates to the commission for marking.

Earlier, he said that question papers were prepared by education boards concerned.

He pointed out that the Punjab Education Reforms Programme had been included in the national education policy by the federal government due to its credibility.

The Punjab government had allocated Rs2billion for education reforms in the province, he added.
