PESHAWAR, June 24: University of Peshawar and Balochistan University on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to continue cooperation in the fields of education and research.

Highlighting academic reforms, Peshawar University’s Vice-Chancellor, Dr Haroon Rashid, said they had brought about a visible improvement in academics during the past six months. He said the ratio of co-curricular activities had also increased in the university because of conducive environment.

Vice-Chancellor of the Balochistan University Ghulam Mohammad Taj praised the academic performance of the Peshawar University and thanked Dr Haroon Rashid for signing the MoU.

Under the newly-signed MoU, relations between the two universities would be further strengthened which would help promote research work and facilitate both the students and teachers in their respective fields. — APP
