OKARA: Police claimed to have arrested two suspects for allegedly raping a 15-year-old mentally challenged boy in Haveli Lakkha.

As per the FIR, on Monday night a mentally challenged teenager T was allegedly forcibly taken to the house of one of the suspects by two local men. There, it alleged the duo raped the teenager and their third accomplice recorded the incident.

It said the victim’s mother along with others reached the house of the suspect while searching for the victim and found him along with the alleged rapist who managed their escape.

The police reached the spot after the victim’s mother called the police helpline and the Haveli Police registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s uncle. Police claimed to have arrested two suspects while the third suspect was still at large.

ACCIDENT: A minor boy was killed while his mother suffered injuries when their bike was hit by a car.

As per details, a car rear-ended a motorcycle near the Tabrook bus stop on GT Road resulting in the death of Muhammad Omar (5) while his mother Amna suffered injuries.

Rescue 1122 shifted the dead body and his injured mother to the DHQ Hospital.
