Efforts for release of hostages

LAKKI MARWAT, June 21: The Marwat Qaumi Jirga on Wednesday authorised the political authorities of the Frontier Region of the Lakki Marwat district to make efforts to secure release of people kidnapped by the Arsal Khan gang of the Bhetani tribe.

On the directives of NWFP Governor Ali Mohammad Jan Orakzai and Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani, a special meeting was held at the office of the DCO in the district headquarters complex in Tajazai to discuss the issue.

The administration was represented by DCO Kifayatullah Khan, who also holds the office of the political agent FR Lakki Marwat.
