Four die on road

SHEIKHUPURA, Feb 8: Four people, including a woman, were killed while 12 others were injured in different road accidents here on Thursday.

Two persons were killed and 12 others injured in a head-on collision between a car and a tractor-trolley on Warn Road, some 26km away from here.

Sultan along with his relative woman, Amina, was going by a car when a tractor-trolley coming from the opposite side collided with it. Sultan and Amina died on the spot, while 12 villagers travelling by the tractor-trolley sustained injuries.

A teenager, Faizan, was knocked down by a speeding motorcycle on Jandiala Road.

Aslam of Daokay was run over by a wagon when he was crossing the road near the bus stop on the GT Road, some 35km away from here.
