Trump thanks Nato Secretary Mark Rutte for expressing support on ‘massive scale’

US President Donald Trump has thanked Nato Secretary General Mark Rutte for his comments saying that allies were supportive on “a massive scale” of Washington’s strikes on Iran.

“Thank you to our great Nato Secretary General!” he said in a post on Truth Social.

Rutte had said that, although Nato was not involved in the strikes, Washington’s actions had “widespread support” from allies.
