BANNU: The security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Domel tehsil of Bannu district on Tuesday, targeting suspected terrorists in a coordinated action that reportedly left several individuals injured.

According to sources, the operation took place in the Kotka Akbar Ali Khan area.

A quadcopter strike targeted a room near a tube well where the presence of terrorists had allegedly been reported.

The sources stated that after the initial strike, the injured individuals were being shifted by their associates on motorcycles to an undisclosed location when a second quadcopter strike was launched. However, some suspects reportedly managed to flee the area.

Following the incident, security in the area was placed on high alert. An intelligence-based search and clearance operation was launched to secure the locality and eliminate any potential threats.
