Thatta PPP leadership overhauled

KARACHI, June 19: Sindh PPP president Syed Qaim Ali Shah has suspended membership of the party’s Thatta district office-bearers and issued them show-cause notices for violating the party discipline.

The office-bearers include Syed Iqbal Shah, senior vice-president PPP Thatta district; Abdus Sattar, member Sindh Council; Abdul Khaliq Soomro, president taluka Thatta; Wahid Dino Parhiyar, president taluka Bhithoro; Mohammad Musa Leghari, president taluka Sujawal; Khuda Bux Thaheem, president taluka Jaati; Shamshad Baloch, president taluka Karochan; Qadir Kumbhar, general secretary taluka Shahbandar, and Mohammad Hurai, acting president taluka Ghorabari.

The show cause notice was also issued to Ghulam Qadir Palejo, a former MPA.

The following are new acting office-bearers: Ali Mohammad Memon, president taluka Jaati; Dildar Sameejo, general secretary taluka Jaati; Sawan Khan Magsi, general secretary taluka Shahbandar; Haji Mohsin Sindhi, president taluka Sujawal; Abdul Hameed Soomro, president taluka Thatta; Engineer Allah Nawaz Khashkheli, general secretary taluka Thatta; Hamzo Khan Baloch, president taluka Karochan; Ali Hassan Zangiani Baloch, president taluka Ghorabari, and Jan Mohammad Thaheem, president taluka Mirpur Sakro.
