HYDERABAD, Feb 8: Hesco notified here on Friday that power supply from 132 KV, Tando Allahyar, Mirpurkhas, Samaro, 66 KV, Khipro, Umerkot, Pithoro, Chhachharo, Nabisar, Naukot, Pangrio, Mithi, Dumbalo, Islamkot and Nagarparkar grid station would remain suspended on Feb 10 from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Similarly, power supply from Shahpur Chakar, Sanghar, Kandyro and Jamshoro grid station would remain suspended on Feb 9 from 8:00pm to 12:00pm.

Due to development work on 132 KV Mirpurkhas-Samaro transmission line, there would be no electric supply from 132 KV Samaro grid station, 66 KV Umerkot, Pithoro, Chhachhro, Nabisar, Naukot, Pangrio, Mithi, Diplo, Islamkot and Nagarparkar on Feb 10 from 6:00am to Feb 11 2:00am (20 hours).

In Cattle colony, Sahib Dino goth, Gopang road, Phuleli, Ansari Muhalla, Paretabad, Gujrati Para, Tando Yousuf road, Millatabad, Odean Cinema, Goods Naka, Station road and Grunagar area, power supply would remain suspended on Feb 9 from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

SLA BUDGET: The board of governors, Sindhi Language Authority at a meeting held here on Friday has approved the budget of the authority for the year 2000-2001 and 2001-2002.

The meeting discussed financial, administrative and publication matters of the authority.

It appointed some committees and decided to call on the Sindh governor for seeking his approval for several schemes as well as the increase in the annual grant for the authority.

The board of governors approved the establishment of a book house, cultural display centre and other schemes of the authority including the preparation of Sindhi to Urdu and English and English to Urdu and Sindhi dictionaries and dictionary of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai’s verses.

The chairman of the authority, Prof Dr Mohammad Qasim Bughio, presided over the meeting.
