LAKKI MARWAT: An under-construction house was blown up with an explosive device in the Kotka Jafar area of Serai Gambila here before Sehri on Sunday.

A police official said unknown terrorists planted explosives beside the house of Munawr Khan, an uncle of police constables, Ishfaq and Irfan.

He said that the bomb went off with a bang, destroying four rooms in the under-construction house. “No casualties occurred and the local police immediately rushed to the site and launched a search for the terrorists in the surrounding area,” he added.

Meanwhile, Shaeed Haibat Ali Khan police registered a case against unknown thieves for stealing electricity equipment from the main transmission line in Darra Pezu town of Lakki Marwat on Saturday night.
