TOBA TEK SINGH: Six persons were critically burnt in an explosion caused by a gas leakage in a house in Canada Colony locality in Nankana Sahib.

Rescue 1122 report said that due to a leakage, gas had accumulated in the kitchen of the house causing a blast. It said that a fire broke out in the kitchen and other rooms of the house.

The injured, identified as Ali Ahmad (20), Aoun Muhammad (18), Ali Raza (26), Arsalan (16) and Adeel (18), were shifted to the Nankana Sahib DHQ Hospital.

ACCIDENT: A bus driver died and 15 passengers were injured when a Bahawalpur-Faisalabad bus collided head on with a trailer coming from the opposite direction near the Rajpoot Colony at Khanewal on Saturday.

Rescue 1122 officials said the bus driver identified as Muhammad Kamil died and 15 passengers were injured in the accident.

They claimed that carelessness of the drivers of both vehicles caused the accident. All the injured were provided first aid by rescuers while two seriously wounded passengers identified as Salma Bibi and Zahid Ali were shifted to the Khanewal DHQ Hospital.
