LAHORE: A new CT scan machine, equipped with AI technology, was inaugurated at a private trust hospital on Thursday to provide advanced medical facilities to the people.

The machine was inaugurated by Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Faheem Rahman Saigol at the Shalamar Hospital.

According to a press release, the ceremony was attended by Board of Trustees Chairman Shahid Hussain, Shalamar Medical and Dental College Principal Prof Zahid Bashir, Chief Operating Officer Dr Ayesha Nauman and other hospital officials.

Addressing the event, Shahid said the hospital was providing world-class medical facilities to the people with the help of philanthropists.

Faheem Rahman Saigol assured the hospital of full support from the chamber. He said the new CT scan machine would provide advanced diagnostic facilities to the people. He said he would encourage businessmen to support the hospital’s efforts to improve healthcare services.

Speaking to the media, Mr Saigol said the new CT scan machine was equipped with AI technology, which would further improve diagnostic facilities for the people.
