LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Monday indicted YouTuber Saadur Rehman, alias Ducky Bhai, his wife Aroob Jatoi and others in a case of alleged promotion of gambling apps on social media.

All the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges and decided to contest the trial.

At this, Magistrate Naeem Wattoo ordered the prosecution to present its witnesses on the next hearing.

Further proceedings will be held on Feb 23.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had registered a case against several YouTubers and TikTokers on charges of promoting gambling apps on their social media accounts.

The agency had arrested Rehman during August last. The Lahore High Court had released him on bail on Nov 24, 2025.

After his release on bail, the YouTuber had accused the NCCIA officials of subjecting him to physical torture and humiliation during the custody.

In this matter, the anti-corruption wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had registered a case against the NCCIA officials on a complaint of Aroob Jatoi and also arrested them on charges of alleged misuse of authority and extortion from the YouTuber while in custody.

The FIA had told a court that more than Rs25 million had been recovered from the NCCIA officials, including Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry, Deputy Director (acting in-charge) Muhammad Zawar Ahmad, assistant directors Shoaib Riaz and Mujtaba Zafar and sub-inspectors Ali Raza and Yasir Ramzan.
