LAHORE, June 14: Thirty-six more matches were decided on the second day of Hot Weather table tennis tournament at Chroma T.T. Complex, Thokar Niaz Baig on Wednesday.

Results:

Men's Amateur (pre-quaterfinals): Umair Hasan (Lhr) bt Ulam Muqtadar (Sheikhupra) 3-1; Zeshan Ahmed (Bahawalnagar) bt Shah Zeb (Lhr) 3-2. Kashif (Gujranwala) beat Bakhtawar (Lhr) 3-1, Farooq (Toba Tek Singh) bt Salman Saeed (Bahawalnagar) 3-1. Salam (Sahiwal) bt Sultan (Lhr) 3-1. Shahzaib (TTS) bt Abdullah (Islamabad) 3-1. Fawad (TTS) bt Shoaib (Gujranwala) 3-0. Maqsood (Bahawalnagar) bt Habib-ur-Rehman (Lahore) 3-1.

Quarterfinals : Umair (Lhr) bt Asad Javed (Bhawalnagar) 3-1. Farooq (TTS) bt Kashif (Gujranwala) 3-2. Shahzaib (TTS) bt Abdul Islam (Sahiwal) 3-2.

Men's open (pre-quarterfinals): Jahangir Khan (Wapda) bt Fawad (TTS) 3-0. Umair (Lhr) bt Abdullah Naeem (Islamabad)3-2. Awais Mukhtar (Wapda) bt Habib (GC) 3-0.
