KHAIRPUR, June 13: Former district nazim Nafisa Shah has said that there is no rule of law in Sindh and incidents of robbery, karo-kari and feuds and clashes were being reported in increasing number.

She was speaking at a gathering in Kingri after offering condolence to relatives of three villagers, who were killed in Maitlo-Kandhro feud.

She said that people in rural and urban areas feel insecure and there was no hope of improvement in the situation.

She said that it was responsibility of the government and police to take action to enforce settlements reached between the groups. She said that district governments in Sindh were working under direct control of ministers.

She said that two federal ministers were running Dadu and Shikarpur districts while Khairpur, Naushahro Feroze, Larkana and Thatta were under control of provincial ministers.

She said that Jacobabad district was being run under directives of the Senate chairman due to which concept of district governments had totally collapsed.
