Schedule for board exams announced

LAHORE: The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) on Saturday issued the preliminary schedule for annual and supplementary examinations of secondary and intermediate classes across the province.

According to the schedule, the annual examinations for Class 9 and Class 10 will commence simultaneously from March 27. The Class 10 (Part II) result is expected to be announced on Aug 6, while the Class 9 (Part I) result is likely to be declared on Sept 2. Supplementary examinations for these classes will begin on Oct 6.

For intermediate students, the annual examinations of Class 11 and Class 12 are scheduled to start from May 20. The Class 12 result is expected on Sept 23, 2026, followed by the Class 11 result on Oct 22. The supplementary examinations for intermediate classes will start from Nov 3, and their results are expected to be announced on Jan 12, 2027.

The PBCC officials stated that the schedule has been shared with all boards to ensure uniformity in examinations and results across Punjab. The schedule will be applicable to all educational boards operating in the province, including Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Bahawalpur,

Dera Ghazi Khan and Sahiwal boards.
