QUETTA, June 11: Afghan officials handed over the bodies of four Pakistanis to the Pakistani authorities at Spin Buldak border post, who had been killed near Lashkar Gah in the Afghan province of Hilmand on Sunday.

According to official sources, the four Pakistanis worked with an Indian construction company in Hilmand. The Afghan government said they were killed by armed bandits when they were carrying salaries of the workers of the company.

The bodies were handed over to their relatives who took them to Loralai for burial.

The deceased were identified as Baz Mohammad, Tawiz Khan, Akhtar Mohammad and Khuda-i-Dad, all Nasir by caste.

Meanwhile, Qila Abdullah District Nazim Adam Khan Achakzai has condemned the killing of the Pakistani nationals and protested with the Afghan officials deployed at Spin Boldak.
